End Date: May 05, 2015

Topics: Health Behaviors, Partners, Action Steps

This webinar is part of the Rankings in Action series. The Rankings show us that it is not one single thing that makes us healthy or unhealthy but a variety of factors. This series of webinars will explore how communities use specific Rankings data to take action on the many factors that influence health, and will also look at policies and programs communities can implement to address these factors.
To kick off this series, we will explore diet & exercise data included in the Rankings (i.e., adult obesity, food environment index, physical inactivity, access to exercise opportunities) as well as some of the policies and programs from What Works for Health that communities can use to address diet & exercise. Joanne Lee from Active Living by Design will join us to share how communities have worked on obesity prevention in early care and education in an effort to build a Culture of Health.
