Start Date: September 29, 2015
End Date: September 30, 2015
September 29-30, 2015
11:30 AM -5:30 PM ET (Both days)
Hosted by the Federal Partners Committee on Women and Trauma, this meeting will focus on how to expand and spread the conversation about trauma-informed approaches.
The meeting will spotlight trauma-informed approaches in four major areas: the criminal justice system, education, health care, and communities and congregations. Within each of these areas, workplace and employment approaches will be addressed.
The meeting will be webcast at “amplifier sites” across the country, with interactivity between amplifier sites and the main event in Washington, DC. Key stakeholders and participants at each amplifier site will participate in the interactive webcast, catalyze local dialogue and action, and engage in strategic action planning.
