Mental health crisis can lead to a deep sense of isolation and alienation from friends, family and community. But, what if friends, family, community and practitioners collaborated with individuals to navigate these difficult times? The presenters will describe their practical experience using Open Dialogue, an innovative, social network-based approach to support people in crisis, emphasizing how core elements of this approach can be integrated into existing practices and crisis response services. The presenters will illustrate the transformative effect of this work on individuals, practitioners, and services.
