In a few short years electronic cigarettes have grown into a multi-billion dollar business, yet conflicting information abounds about the efficacy and safety. This presentation will show both sides of the controversy and answer the questions of whether they will help a smoker quit and are they safe.
- Understand how the different parts of an e-cigarette impact it's use and safety.
- Explain the pros and cons of using e-cigarettes as a cessation device vs the use of FDA approved medications.
- Explain the health concerns of the user and those exposed to secondhand vapor.
